He's fine, comic strip characters can survive these sorts of antics.
A colorful cast, secret techniques, and slapstick comedy... what more could you possibly want from a comic strip?
Ideally, for a strange Canadian man to run a bizarre restaurant chain based on the characters.
Or at the very least sell frozen Hot Chicken with Junior's face on it.
